Christine Soares Christine Soares, Esq.,

Cozen O'Connor

As Member in Cozen O'Connor's Energy, Environmental, and Public Utilities Practice, Christine concentrates her practice on regulatory, commercial, and litigation disputes involving public utilities. Christine also provides ongoing legal counsel to transportation and logistics companies on a wide range of legal issues.  In addition to being President of PWR, Christine is also involved in several community organizations and provides pro bono services through the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania Prisoner Civil Rights Panel. Christine graduated with a B.A. in English from La Salle University, and received her J.D. from the Villanova University School of Law.

Doreen is a career transition specialist with Innovational Services, a company comprised of highly trained industry experts, career consultants, and executive coaches. A highly skilled professional, she specializes in career transition, development, and counseling, as well as job search and networking strategies. She is dedicated to helping others find joy and fulfillment in their work, creating a transformational experience for her cross-industry clients, resulting in unlimited growth and possibility. She enjoys volunteering for organizations that empower women to live up to their true potential. Doreen received her B.S. from Shippensburg University.

Leslie Cano Leslie Cano,

Freedom Mortgage Corporation

Leslie is a Sr. Business Analyst in the area of Corporate Analytics at Freedom Mortgage Corporation, a privately held full-service lender. In this role she is responsible for implementing a risk-based continuous internal audit plan based on best practices in Enterprise Risk Management, and she provides consulting services to the organization's management and staff. With over ten years’ experience in finance and enterprise risk management, she has experience in global and national arenas in energy, legal services, banking, education, and tourism/hospitality industries. She is a graduate of the Forum of Executive Women’s Mentoring Program and is passionate about supporting initiatives to increase the number of women in leadership positions, specifically within industries in which women leaders are underrepresented. Leslie earned her B.S. in Finance from the University of Akron and her MBA from Drexel University’s LeBow College of Business.

Diane Barber, Esq.Diane Barber, Esq.,

AlliedBarton Security Services

Diane is an attorney and the Director of Contracts in the Legal Services Department at AlliedBarton Security Services, a national provider of security officer services headquartered in Conshohocken, PA. In her role at AlliedBarton, she specializes in commercial contracts, drafting and negotiation, and corporate compliance. She is active in the National Association of Professional Women and serves on the Board of Directors of MusicWorks, a non-profit provider of music therapy services located in Delaware County, PA. Diane received her B.A., graduating summa cum laude, from LaSalle University, and her J.D. from Duke University.

Beth Minkus,

Snap Kitchen

In her role with Snap Kitchen, Beth is facilitating all local marketing, partnerships, and catering and is helping to launch the brand's stores in the Philadelphia region.  A founding member of Party Partners of Philadelphia, Beth's background is in catering, marketing and social media for restaurants and venues including Dave & Buster's, Brulee Catering and The Palm.  A believer in giving back to the city and community, Beth has also served as Silent Auction Co-Chair for the 2014 and 2015 Human Rights Campaign Galas, as well as a Campaign Manager for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Women of the Year campaign 2 years in a row.  Beth graduated from Arcadia University with an individualized concentration B.A. in Event Planning, combining Corporate Communications, Business and Marketing classes to fulfill her curriculum.

Coldwell Banker Preferred 

Cherise is a former chemist-now-realtor with Coldwell Banker Preferred, and is known in the real estate industry as "Agent Lady." Cherise provides home buying and selling services all across Philadelphia; however, her focus is working with first-time home buyers in Center City and surrounding areas. Cherise's passion for real estate goes far beyond just closing deals, and is shown by becoming a personal resource to all her clients. Cherise received a Bachelors degree in Chemistry at West Chester University and became a licensed realtor after attending Temple Real Estate School.

Code for Philly

Dawn is a civic tech and open data professional, passionate about building community in Philadelphia. Professionally, Dawn works at a govtech company leading the market in government communications with citizens. Her passion is running the civic tech community and emerging nonprofit, Code for Philly. It uses tech and data as a mode of civic engagement to transform the way the city works. Dawn is passionate about civic innovation transforming our cities today for a sustainable future. Dawn graduated Magna cum Laude with a B.S. in Sustainable Urbanism from Drexel University.

Nicole R. Morgenstern

Nicole founded her boutique photo booth & events company, CliqueCam, in 2016 after spending over 14 years in marketing and event planning. With a passion for fashion and hospitality, she has a diverse background of experience including buyer at Destination Maternity, a personal stylist & Marketing Manager at Saks Fifth Avenue and Sales & Marketing Manager of Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse.  Nicole is a founding member of Party Partners of Philadelphia, a group of leaders and decision-makers in the hospitality industry which seeks to network, volunteer and create a uniquely collaborative atmosphere in the City of Brotherly Love.  Active in giving back to her community, Nicole was honored to run for 2015 Woman of the Year for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and continues to serve as Campaign Manager yearly.  Nicole holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Merchandising from Philadelphia University.

Jamie Kloss,

Braithwaite Communications

Jamie is a marketing specialist with Braithwaite Communications, an independent marketing, branding and public relations firm in Center City. With a background in media relations, she specializes in writing and packaging content for the press. In her current role, Jamie develops internal and external communications strategies for clients in the pharmaceutical, financial services and nonprofit sectors. She can tell a story in 140 characters or 2,000 words; in a print ad or an email newsletter; through graphics, videos or a special event. Jamie graduated from Quinnipiac University with a B.A. in Public Relations.
